Tex, young black lab mix, neutered, sweet & submissive found in Bayview on Nov 18, 2009. He really bugs the other dogs so we do not think he has had much socialization. He followed the Bayview mayor home one day from N. San Roman and Centerline. Another dog dumped in the Bayview. He would be a great companion dog after some one-on-one time with a loving owner. Enya is a beautiful wire-haired 1 yr old spayed Fox Terrier Mix who was rescued from the Brownsville shelter. She has been at Smith Ranch Kennels since March 2, 2010 so she could be treated for heartworm. Enya is totally healthy now and very ready to go to a loving home. She is lively, bossy, clever, and independent--so she really needs to be fostered or be adopted. You must provide training and stimulation to enjoy all this wonderful dog has to offer. Enya is not as quick to bark as other terriers. However, if no one is home all day and have close neighbors, terriers are not the best choice for you.
